Paddle!

The exhibition explores the history, culture, and many forms of canoeing and kayaking in Sweden, from everyday family paddling to long-distance sea kayaking and competitive water sports.

Paddle! highlights how paddling during history have offered unique opportunities to experience nature, and also emphasizing the responsibilities that come with Sweden’s Right of Public Access. You are introduced to inspiring stories of remarkable paddling expeditions, as well as the achievements of Swedish paddlers in national and international competitions. Ultimately, the exhibition aims to inspire people of all ages and experience levels to discover paddling as a rewarding way to enjoy nature, adventure, exercise, and community.
